Snowshoe - Beach - Family & Pet Friendly - Adirondack Cabin

We had the best time at Camp Chimney Mountain. From the emails prior to arrival answering every question we had before we asked it, to the great hosts, Tim and Davanna! After entering through the gate to the private camp we arrived at our cabin which was spotless and ready to go with the firewood stacked on the porch that we had requested. We had great conversations with Tim about the trails that are accessible right outside your door and he was a great reference about levels of difficulty and how long it would take to hike each trail. Each cabin has a bbq, there are firepits positioned throughout camp, a swim area, and a camp store. The camp is dog friendly. The lake is perfect for canoeing, kayaking or paddleboards as no motorized boats, etc are allowed. The fishing looked good too. We highly recommend a stay - ours was a week and it wasnt long enough!!! We will definitely be back next year and are spreading the word!!

Enough said, beautiful grounds, if you are respectful and responsible for yourself and family guests, you can’t go wrong!

This place was great. The cabins have good WiFi and all the modern amenities of home except for tv. The property is expansive and I never felt crowded. Another plus is that it’s dog friendly. The trails are literally at the edge of the property and aren’t crowded like the High Peaks. Would recommend.

What a gem!!! Cabins were nice and clean. The property was beautiful! Loved that I could just wake up and walk out the door and hike. Tim was a great host too. Thanks for everything! Cant wait to bring back some friends.
